No more mixing up of clean and dirty clothing. ![]() One side for the clean riding kit, one side for the dirty, worn stuff! In one of the sides there is even two compression straps to help you really pack this bag to its fullest. Giving great amounts of storage at either side of the opening. The main bag opens like a traditional ‘clam-shell’ suitcase. So what does this pack offer that your bag for life doesn’t I hear you ask? Well… I’d usually have to squeeze all of this into a couple of bags for life, so having one pack, completely organised (especially as Osprey kindly supplied a set of their packing cubes too) made accessing my clean kit all weekend a breeze. I managed to pack all of my weekends jerseys, shorts, socks and a jacket into one side along with my casual clothes for the meetup long weekend, along with a handful of tools, toiletries and electrical bits and bobs too. I spotted this pack at an Osprey event earlier in the year and (CLANG – name drop in-coming) whilst chatting with Osprey Ambassador Tracy Mosley, we discussed the versatility the pack offers and how it would make a brilliant race weekend kit pack – to which she confirmed the Trek DH race team all use the same (only a bigger version). Perfect if you have a summer trip to the Alps planned and don’t want all your kit stowed away in your bike bag or hold luggage. As the name suggests – this is a 44 litre travel pack, made to fit within most EU carry-on luggage requirements. The ‘Osprey Transporter Carry-on 44’ arrived in time for this years MTBMeetup. And I’d hazard a guess that is what most other MTB’ers are using too, but there are other options out there… ![]() Well that’s what I’d been using to carry pretty much all of my gear before a weekend away at races or meet-ups. We all have one, right? Usually a bag for life, or of course the classic blue Ikea bag.
